Today, Lori Richardson is a tallented singer, song writter, guitarist, and fiddle player. It began at age 11, when her uncle gave our family an acoustic guitar. Just about to enter Junior high, shy, smart girl with freckles, unkempt hair and glasses. High school was the turning point, she gained the reputation of “the girl who sits at home and practices all day”. They were right. At age 16 she wanted nothing more than to be independent, free. Arguably, no artist grows up: If he sheds the perceptions of childhood, he ceases being an artist’. So be it! Lori is now studying contemporary classical composition with renowned composers such as, Daniel Asia, Pamela Decker and Craig Walsh at the University of Arizona.

The net proceeds from the album go to benefit the Tucson Together Fund, the only officially sanctioned fund established to assist victims, families, and witnesses of the January 8th tragedy with medical, mental health, and court costs that will extend years beyond the events of that day.
